Furniture Recycling Services
Orange Box North East collects, and re-distributes unwanted donated furniture, household items and white goods received from the general public, as well as statutory and private sector partners and businesses. We recycle these back into the community, primarily for those on low income and in greatest need. Discounted furniture, household items and white goods are available to customers in need. To support this we offer a FREE and prompt furniture collection service, from single donations to full house clearances to achieve this |
Up-skilling of local people
Actively recruiting local people, we offer both practical hands-on training and a range of voluntary opportunities that will make people more job-ready and employable. In addition, we provide support to individuals in their job search, liaising with partner agencies and organisations to promote progression. We aim to assist those furthest from the labour market, and those who are isolated and socially excluded. For more information check our volunteers page HERE |
Zero Tolerance on Landfill
Each year we divert several tonnes of household objects going to landfill. Through the recycling of used furniture, household items and white goods, we aim to make a substantial local effort in reducing the amounts going to landfill. This combination of recycling services will result in lower waste disposal costs, a reduction in carbon emissions, improve our environment and the wellbeing of local residents. Donating your furniture really does make a difference! |
