Furniture Recycling Services
Orange Box North East collects, and re-distributes unwanted donated furniture, household items and white goods received from the general public, as well as statutory and private sector partners and businesses. We recycle these back into the community, primarily for those on low income and in greatest need. To support this we offer a FREE and prompt furniture collection service, from single donations to full house clearances. |
Up-skilling of local people
Actively recruiting local people, we offer both practical hands-on training and a range of voluntary opportunities that will make people more job-ready and employable. We aim to assist those furthest from the labour market, and those who are isolated and socially excluded. You must be over 18 years of age, with no upper age limit! No experience necessary , just a willingness to learn and be part of a great team providing a valuable local service. |
Zero Tolerance on Landfill
Each year we divert several tonnes of household objects going to landfill. Through the recycling of used furniture, household items and white goods, we aim to make a substantial local effort in reducing the amounts going to landfill. This combination of recycling services will result in lower waste disposal costs, a reduction in carbon emissions, improve our environment and the wellbeing of local residents. Donating your furniture really does make a difference! |
